TCF STORY TCF is a professionally managed, non-profit
organization set up in 1995 by a group ofcitizens concerned with the dismal state ofeducation in Pakistan. It is now one ofPakistan's leading organizations in the fieldof formal education. As of 2009 TCF hasestablished 600 purpose-built school unitsnationwide with an enrollment of 80,000students. TCF encourages female enrollmentand boasts of a 50% female ratio in almostevery campus. TCF has a full Female
Faculty of 4,150 members. TCF also has adedicated Teacher Training Center inKarachi for the ongoing training of itsfaculty and provides logistical support to allits teachers. 6, 026 jobs have been created incommunities in which TCF operates.
TCF is registered in Pakistan as a Company
limited by guarantee under section 42 of theCompanies Ordinance, 1984 and itsaccounts are audited by KPMG Taseer Hadiand Co. TCF is ranked amongst the top fivescoring organizations certified by thePakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) andhas received high non-profit organization(NPO) governance rating of GR-8 by JCR-VIS Credit Rating Co Ltd.

Vision or PurposePositive change in the life of every individual by providing best quality education removing the barriers of class andprivilege is the basic Vision or Purpose of TCF. Management from Top level to Bottom including every single staffmember is going along with this vision at the level best.
Organizing and PlanningTCF is organized and planned on its clearly conceived vision elaborated above. Every single department is focused anddirected towards achievement of this vision this is basic education is the right of every individual apart from the statushe or she has.
StrategyThe strategy is to keep increasing a network of already 600 purpose built operational school units which willconsequentially increase the enrollment of existing 80,000 students nation wide.
Policy MattersThere is strict application of policy and no deviation from stream lined policy is practiced.
ProceduresThere are documented Standard Operating Procedures in placed for every department which are acted upon inaccordance with the clearly defined policies.
Excellent Working EnvironmentAn immense co-operative, coordinative and supportive environment can be seen from top level to bottom levelmanagement which gives so much confidence and motivation in performing duties at the level best of every single staff,which is treated like family member of TCF.

Management ControlsThere is strong and stringent controls which keeps the organization safe, healthy and risk free from the financial hazards.
For this purpose, there is an internal audit practice which occurred every year and internal auditor submits the report tothe CEO.
An external audit is also conducted by the competent charted accountant firm which submits its report to the CEO aswell as to the regulatory authorities of the state.
Job Opportunity for StudentsOrganization provides job opportunity to those students who have passed their matriculation to gain financial assistanceduring their studies.
Scholarship PolicyThere is an excellent scholarship policy provided by the organization. According to this policy, every student is providedfinancial assistance during the study program. This becomes the best practice when scholarship is extended to thosestudents also, who have passed out from the schools running under the umbrella of TCF in such a way that student canget the scholarship from TCF by providing the documentary evidence of admission of that school, college or universitywhere he/she is intended to carry on study from.
