Poverty is the condition of lacking basic

human needs such as nutrition, clean

water, health care, clothing and shelter

because of the inability to afford them.

Environmental protection is a practice ofprotecting the environment, on individual,organizational or governmental level, for the

benefit of the natural environment and (or)humans.

Environmental degradation is the

deterioration of the environment throughdepletion of resources such as air, waterand soil, the destruction of ecosystems andthe extinction of wildlife.
