We used obvious editing in the first part of our music video:

We’ve used a jump cut in our first shot to establish the beat of the song and also to fit in the introduction of our story line (when she’s walking out of her house)

We also used slow motion in that clip to emphasize the happiness of the artist and allows the viewer to focus on the artists facial features

Camera movement:

We were going to use a pan up and down when the lyrics started , however we had some difficulties due to the weather as we did the shots on two different days. So we never got a chance to use it although we really wanted to due to the obvious reasons……

However we did try to make it work by changing the density but it didn't’t make much of a difference

Camera movement:

The camera moves up the to the artist up the staircase to show that she is at a different location. We wanted the camera to move around to give the video movement which we hope that would make the viewer want to move with it more.

We use a close up in our video , we made sure to do this as we didn’t in our lip sync project. As all music videos have to have close ups
