Stop & Think
A campaign that asks each employee to stop & think about the hazards associated with each task prior to performing the task, and to stop if they don’t think it can be done safely.
Employees Obligation To Protect Each Other
Safety Observation System
A system which allows all employees to exercise Stop Work Authority if they observe unsafe acts or conditions and take corrective action to address them either through conversation or up-line reporting.

MEASURING RISK…
WHAT TO DO WHEN RISK IS IDENTIFIED?
Assess the at risk behavior or condition
Use Stop Work Authority at the appropriate time
Start a constructive safety dialogue
Correct (control) the at risk condition or behavior
Involve the appropriate Supervisor, when needed
Document how the observation was controlled on the Safety Observation Card
Submit the completed card to your Supervisor or when available enter via iPad or desktop
