Prairieland Watercolor Society News
Our October meeting was another day of sharing and learning new things. We were treated to a return of one of our friends Teresa Lemkemann who is a very talented artist. She shared a video about putting figures into our painting and then did a demonstration as well. The figures are called Jellybean figures and it was interesting to see how using these in a painting can add life to the scene. As with all our meetings I walked away with something new to try. Kathy Sherman told us she had taken another seminar this time with Ron Ranson and
(Cont’d) she is going to bring some things to share with us at the next meeting. Also, since we do not meet in December we are going to do a little early Christmas exchange for those who wish to do so. Bring a little painting, nothing really big, just a little something to participate. As always new faces are welcome to join us, we not only have fun, but learn a little something while doing so.
