This coming year, I plan to put emphasis on Cultural activities while having FUN-raisers to help with capital improvements that need to be made to our home so that the next 35 years will be as great as the past 35. Your support is needed and I hope that you can lend a hand. Make your way down to a meeting and see what’s cooking. In 1977 Over 150 members of the Local Italian-American Community Came to-gether to form our lodge. The countless hours of hard work, plan-ning and communities service, has made Geneva lodge the great insti-tution it is today. The Geneva Lodge will be teaming up with the Geneva Historical Society on a new program to gather more information on various eth-nic groups here in Geneva. The society has asked our lodge to participate in this effort. On Thur. April 26th mem-bers of the Historical Soci-ety will be at our lodge to meet residents of Italian American descent. They hope you will share stories, and photographs so they can broaden their knowl-edge of Geneva’s Italians. Contact John W. Yannotti if you can help in this effort.
