IMELCO manufactures were recognized for business excellence in the following areas:

• Best Cooperation with National Headquarters (Legrand)• Excellence in Digitalization (Schneider Electric)• Outstanding results in Commercial Policy, Delivery, Logistics, and

Loyalty to Wholesalers (OBO Bettermann)• Inspiring Development / overall winner of the SAP 2017 (Hager)

Winning companies were selected by the Managing Directors of organizations in each member organization as well as evaluations provided my member wholesalers executives from all over the world.

Established over 25 years ago, IMELCO is the leading consortium of independent electrical wholesale companies in the world. Since IMELCO was founded, IMELCO has been providing essential support to member wholesalers and manufacturers bringing into focus, the significant role of the ‘independent’ electrical distributors as well as the growing importance of international cooperation.

Simon Barkes, IMELCO Chairman: “IMELCO‘s growing international membership offers suppliers

group had made strategic forward-moving decision to reinforce our team. Today, we are delighted

to welcome Co Braber to the IMELCO community!

He brings with him a wealth of experience, at senior management level, with one of Europe‘s largest

lighting manufacturers. He is personable and engaging, and will fit in well with members, co-workers

and suppliers alike. He will be the Supplier facing member of the IMELCO team and as such will be

engaged in strategy, relationship building, contract oversight and the ongoing process of creating
