Philadelphia, PA-based R&B sensation Pink Sweat$ has kicked off the summer with a touching new release, “Not Alright”; listen now HERE. Back in February Pink Sweat$ was gearing up for the release of his debut album and gave the world “17” – one of the most beautiful love songs to date. In light of this year’s events Pink Sweat$ has decided to pivot and drop THE PRELUDE, featuring select records that preview his highly-anticipated debut album. “Not Alright,” the first official release from THE PRELUDE, communicates how Pink Sweat$ and many are feeling during these uneasy times. THE PRELUDE is slated to release on July 17th, 2020. The rising star, who recently joined Atlantic Records’ legendary roster, released “Ride With Me” and “Cadillac Drive” both featured on Issa Rae’s acclaimed HBO series, Insecure (Season 4), the latter of which was also featured on the official Insecure soundtrack. Pink Sweat$ also recently collaborated with the talented Galantis and Ship Wrek, “Only A Fool.” Since his debut EP, VOLUME 1, Pink Sweat$ has fully stepped into the spotlight. “Honesty,” the project’s breakthrough first single, has earned more than 400 million worldwide streams while its official companion video boasts nearly 34 million views via YouTube HERE. VOLUME 2 – which includes the hit singles “I Know” and “Coke & Henny, Pt. 1”– followed in 2019, drawing praise from such top outlets as Billboard, Complex, Hypebeast, Ones To Watch, and The FADER, among others. Additionally, he achieved a number of other accolades throughout the year including – YouTube’s “Artist on the Rise,” Apple’s Artist “Up Next,” BET’s Amplified Artist, Pandora’s “Artist to Know” and earned himself a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2019 Soul Train Awards.
