Konica Minolta Business Solutions France Acquires SERIANS Langenhagen, June 4th, 2012

Konica Minolta Business Solutions France announces the acquisition of SERIANS S.A.S., a specialist in IT services and printing solutions. In this purchase, SERIANS S.A.S. becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France. SERIANS S.A.S. will continue to operate autonomously under its own brand name.

As an expert in IT services, printing solutions and management solutions, SERIANS has enjoyed prominence in the Picardie and Northern regions of France for more than thirty years. SERIANS offers consulting services, software solutions and integration, assistance and maintenance, outsourcing services, and training and financing. SERIANS generates annual turnover of € 30 million with 220 employees.

This acquisition is an essential component of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France’s IT services development strategy to provide the greater offer of services for its customers. Konica Minolta will hereby strengthen its position in France, one of most important markets for Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. For SERIANS, this agreement provides the opportunity to develop its activities nationwide.

These objectives will be accelerated by both M&A (mergers and acquisitions) and strategic partnerships. This strategy is aligned with the Konica Minolta Group Medium Term Business Plan “G PLAN 2013”.
