• Many people grow up in villages and move to the city for work. Elderly are known to reside in the villages.

• Of the 10 million people who live in Greece, almost half (4 million) live in Athens. *City life/work

• During summer, people stay true to their roots! They close their businesses in Athens and go back to enjoy their village lives.
