That’s right, Pixie. It’s going to

feel just like the circus came to

town, today!

PIXIE

(growls)

Mrs. Sciencefeld reads the card aloud.

Dear madame library steward,

there’s a whale of a time for every

girl and boy who learns in a

library. The cupcakes are to be

dispensed at Story Hour.

BIG MIKE smiles, wearing a linen bib, as the DUMBWAITER serves a silver tray of cheese, crackers, and pâté.

DUMBWAITER

MORTIMER opens a peel back sealed tin can marked “WHALE BLUBBER” on Mayor Bart’s desk and uses a spatula to frost a crumpled box of saltine crackers into the shape of a bucket.

MORTIMER

What do think? Bart’s Bucket of

breakfast blubber? Or we could lose

the breakfast? You can eat this

stuff anytime.

The Dumbwaiter is clearing Big Mike’s breakfast dishes, it’s built-in monitor screen is revealing Mortimer’s distressed face.

Timothy and Alpha are in front of the wall flat screen watching voice pattern markers scroll across the screen.

Roger rolls up on his Big Slide wearing a doctor’s lab coat and stethoscope, hands Timothy a medical chart and listens to the flat screen.

Moby was just a guppy. Ahab needs

glasses.

SFX: MOTORCYCLE ENGINE STARTING

SPACE MOTORCYCLE

Alpha is leaning back on his motorcycle seat, wiping his Vuarnets.

TIMOTHY

We’ll need sonar samples.

PAUL

Timothy?

TIMOTHY

It’s Melville!

SFX: MOTORCYCLE ENGINE REVVING

Roger comes running past carrying his medic bag, lunch box, and a harpoon pre-loaded with a Q-Tip.

GURDEEP is entering data in his computer.

The office doors slide open revealing a small lab attendant ROBOT carrying a DVD case.

EXT. FAEBER HOME - CONTINUOUS

Mrs. Faeber is holding out a mop and bucket.

BACK TO GURDEEP’S OFFICE

Gurdeep’s computer screen is flashing red as Mrs. Faeber says:

MRS. FAEBER

Gurpee!!!!! Put me on the flat

screen, now!

FAEBER HOME

A shiny new R500 robot, shaped like one small egg atop a larger egg, is grabbing the mop and bucket from Mrs. Faeber.

And the flatscreen showing Mrs. Faeber.

GURDEEP’S FRANTIC LOOK

MRS. FAEBER (CONT’D)

didn’t close the back door, tightly

along with the mess you’ve made?

Alpha, Roger, and the space motorcycle materialize in front of Gurdeep’s desk.

Roger jumps from the sidecar, runs to Gurdeep’s desk, carrying his medic myPad causing Gurdeep to immediately place his lunch box in his desk.

ROGER

Hi, grandma! Hi, Dad! It’s nap time

at preschool and we’re working on a

serious extra-credit case, grandma!

ALPHA LOWERING VUARNETS

Roger approaches Gurdeep’s desk, loads the “EXTRAPOLATOR” DVD into his myPad, and runs back to the sidecar.

I needed to pick up Timothy’s

homework!

and tough luck locale around.

Places where wise old birds can

ROGER

Roger crawls out the back of the sidecar, unhooking the satellite from the space motorcycle and crawls back in the sidecar. He opens his medic bag revealing Gurdeep’s Extrapolator Algorithm DVD.

Timothy’s lab computer screen is showing a falling “SONAR SIGNAL” meter.

Turn the power on!!!

GURDEEP’S OFFICE

(NOTE: Mrs. Faeber is showing on the Gurdeep’s wall flat screen holding out a male extension cord plug.

The robot reaches for Timothy’s homework DVD from Gurdeep’s desk.

Losing sonar power.

MRS. FAEBER

Gurpy???

EXT. DEEP SPACE - CONTINUOUS

Roger turns on his medics myPad, its screen flashes “ACTIVATE - YES/NO”

He presses “Yes”.

The satellite spins open releasing seven matching satellites.

ROGER

Roger, Timothy, this is Roger.

Powering on. Melville approaching.

Melville’s Mini Cooper is closing on the motorcycle.

Pixie is feather dusting everything in sight.
