1 PRICAT (B) - General

This document describes requirements for an EDI message PRICAT, variant B. Variant B describes an article master

with prices, but without a differentiated feature representation, see "BGM + 25E". A segment number is a sequence

(sequence number) of a PRICAT segments as defined below in accordance with an GS1 standard.

1.1 Version

The latest is from 20.11.2018.

1.2 Segment sequence in an GS1 standard

All segments available in PRICAT (see below), we only interpret segments, which are explained in detail in the

following and therefore marked in blue. Other segments are not processed.

An entry of a pure article master data and characteristics is made in a PRICAT message, variant (A). The

requirements for this are contained in a separate document. In a present PRICAT (B) with "BGM + 25E", on the other

hand, a specification of characteristics is omitted.
