Question 1In this bar graph it shows me that the people who completed the questionnaire were mostly 11-20 this is good as this is my target audience so it means I will get more accurate results because they know what is in rock magazine and why they might buy the magazine so they know how to get more people to read the magazine this was 73.33% of all the people who took my magazine which is 11/15 people. Also there is 3 people who were 21-30 which is 20% which is good as they are at the end of my target audience so I can also see what people think of and 1 person is 41-50 which is 6.6% this is good as not only my target audience can read my magazine its also available for other ages.

This question is whether the people doing the survey were male or female 8 females did my survey which was 53.33% and 7 males did the survey which was 46.6% and my target audience is males so I should use the same answers as the males as there opinions re the most important.

Question 3

This question shows which socio-economic need the participants have and there is one person who is in B middle management which is 6.67% as A higher management is no one. C1 which is office supervisors is 13.33% which is two people and C2 is skilled manual workers which is 26.67% and 4 people and D is semi skilled workers which is 13.33% being 2 people. Finally, the highest is E which is unemployed which is 6 people that is 40% of the people doing the survey this is good as my target audience is most likely to be unemployed as the have to be in education.

Question 4This question is important as it shows me what colours I should use on my front cover of my magazine red, white, yellow and black was 2 people out of 15 which is 13.33% and my highest is red, white and black which was 8 people 53.33% which shows this is defiantly the colour I should use in my magazine. This is because white and black was 20% as it was 3 people ,red and white had no people and black and red was only 2 people as it was 13.33%. This demonstrates that in my magazine I should use red, white and black as it is the most popular.

Question 5On this question everyone could write who hey thought would be the best person for my rock magazine some of the best answers were green day, the killers , Axel rose, Nickleback and Bastile. Also my most common answer was Paramore this means I could use them and put them on the front cover which would add star appeal (Richard Dyer) as more people will want to read the magazine because Paramore are very popular in rock.

Question 6This question shows which promotions people prefer this could be put on the front cover of my magazine so it acts as puff promotion and it means more people will want to buy the magazine so they can win promotions. There was a clear winner of which promotions to use which was concert tickets which was 11/20 people and one person wanted Spotify tickets and ITunes vouchers which is 6.67% and lastly 13.33% said they would want to win an album signed which was 2 people.

For the content for my double page spread I am going to use interviews as 66.67% which is 10 people out of 15 said it’s the most popular options and 3 people wanted concert information which was 20% and 2 people said they would want album reviews so I need to come up with some questions to interview someone for my double page spread which could relate to there life or there life at singer.

Question 8

This question shows which name I should use for my magazine which could be catchy so people remember it. The most popular name was Rock It which was 40% and 6 people this is a good name because its catchy and Rock Repay was second which was 5 people and 33.33%.Lastly, Rock Block is 4 people which is 26.67% this is good as rock it is a short snappy name and its simple to remember.

Question 9On this question people has to write what they thought was the most important prop to have on the magazine and they has to write what they thought so 11of the people thought a guitar would be a good prop which will help everyone to know the genre of the magazine and two people said it would be good to have a microphone this is good as it demonstrated what the celebrities play or sing. Two people also said they thought drums would be a good addition to the magazine and one person said black clothes and black eyeliner.

Question 10This question shows what is the most important part of the front cover that I have to include and focus on to make sure it is the best it can be this is a main image which is 13 people and it is 86.67% of people this shows I need to make sure I have a good picture from there arms up and make sure it is a good model. Everything else was zero except the master head which was 1/15 and the strapline was 1/15 so the title and the strapline which will be below it are important.

Question 1The biggest age group in my questionnaire is 11-20 this is good as this is the main age group in my target audience and 41-50 was the second biggest amount doing the questionnaire. Lastly, 51-60 and 61+ of people are both equal parts so my main audience is 11-20 which is a good way of knowing what to be in my magazine as the people dig my questionnaire are my target audience.

Question 2 This question shows how much people would pay for my magazine at maximum nearly everyone said they would pay £2.00-£2.99 this shows this is the price my magazine is and 1 person said they would pay £4.00 and more and one person said they would pay £3.00-£3.99 this shows that as know said they would pay £1.00-£1.99. This shows that I should charge at the top end of two pounds as people are willing to pay three pounds and more so I will charge the magazine at £2.99 as this is in the middle of what everyone would pay.

Question 3 Most people said they would like the magazine to be advertised via YouTube this is a good way of advertising as I could put it on specific rock music videos so it will be specified for my target audience and some people said on the radio this is also a good way to advertise as they might listen to rock stations but this shows me I should use YouTube advertisements ass it appeals to my target audience more then other advertisements.

Question 4The most popular colour scheme for my magazine is red, white, yellow and black this is good as it gives the magazine lots of colour but it is still not too simple so there is more colour which will outline important parts of the magazine and some people said red, white and black were good colours this is also good because it still has lots of colour but it is still similar to more rock magazines.

The biggest promotion people prefer on my magazine is concert tickets which is good as on my survey people also said they would want concert tickets. Nott far behind are Itunes vouchers and album sighed which is 2/7 for each one. This demonstrates that concert tickets are the most important parts of promoting my magazine.

Question 6My magazines most popular name is Rock it this is good as in my survey it was also the most popular name so it emphasis that it is the name that my magazine can be called. Also rock block was second which shows if I don’t use the name Rock it then I can use Rock Block as it is the second best name for the magazine.

In the questionnaire most of the people who completed it was female and some people were male which was 3/7 and 4/7 were female which demonstrates that it is quite equal but males are my target audience so it might not be so accurate.

The questionnaire shows clearly that my magazine is going to be a monthly magazine as 7/7 people would rather buy it monthly. Also, this is good as it means that I have more time to make the magazine and it means each month it will be higher quality as I have more time to make the magazine.

Question 9 This pie chart shows that there is not just one part that is extremely important in my magazine so I should use all the techniques to make sure the magazines high quality but puff promotion is the highest but not by far this includes competitions like winning concert tickets and the main image is also the top most important as it is what attracts the reader first as it’s the biggest part. Also the pull quote is important and the selling lines as it shows how popular the magazine is.

Question 10In my questionnaire I asked people what the most important props were and they came up with 4 main things which were drums which was half the answers and then the guitar was the second most popular prop. Next the hat was important and the tattoos as it adds to the individual characters in the magazine and the overall aesthetics and house style of the magazine.
