I have always loved the Spring with its promises of longer and sunnier days. Even though we have managed to fill the long, cold winter nights with fantastic parties sup-ported by a range of talented artists, we are greatly looking forward to this new season.
This Spring soul music will be featuring heavily on the listings with new events such as ‘We Love...Stevie Wonder’ with Roberto Angrisani, an amazing Italian singer and his top band. We will continue with our popular classic events with our Marvin Gaye night with Wayne Hernandez, a multi-talented
performer with a silky voice and Curtis Scott and Deborah will revive all the magic of Tamla Motown.
We are also proud to support “Walk the Walk” during Ladies Night in May, a wonderful charity raising money for breast cancer in the UK. Especially for the occasion, we are creating the Moonwalk cocktail which will be on sale on the night, with the profits going to the charity.
We are happy to see audiences growing in PRIMO and receiving encour-aging feedback from all our guests. We do hope you will enjoy our enter-tainment and look forward to you becoming PRIMO Bar regulars!
Executive Host and Artistic Director Bar ManagerDidier Agueh Alberto Sanna
Spring is on its way, a great time for the bar team to get inspired by sunny fla-vours – tropical fruits, fresh herbs and zingy colours – the best time of year for creating new cocktails!
The team and I have been scouring some of London’s hottest cocktail bars for inspiration, Callooh Callay, 69 Cole-brook Row and more and we will soon be bringing you a delicious new raft of concoctions to see in the sunnier days. In the meantime, to carry you through the last remaining winter days, our cock-
tail of the month is the warming Ginger Bramble – Ginger is not only a great natural cold remedy but it is also a powerful aphrodisiac so enjoy with caution! If you haven’t tried our signature Plaza Royal either, I highly recommend it – a fruity mix of pomegranate, elderflower and Champagne.
Top tips for the coming months are to check out the brand new London Dungeons, now open at County Hall and the London Marathon will be passing by the hotel on 21st April this year.We are happy to announce we are partnering with Walk the Walk breast cancer awareness charity in May for a special Ladies Night and have a host of exciting new musical artists for you to enjoy too.
I hope to see you all soon at PRIMO Bar, and welcome to Spring from all of us!
