The Plan calls for the preservation of the Village’s historic character while introducing appropriate and attractive commercial and residential development to help the Village become the center of community life.

Plainsboro’s public parks provide for both active and passive recreational pursuits. The jewel is the 1,000 acre Plainsboro Preserve which includes a 50-acre lake, walking trails, valuable wetlands and large wooded areas, with an abundance of natural habitats for plants, animals and migratory birds.
