Principal’s Message Dear Parents/Caregivers,

It’s been a great start to the term, with students settling quickly into new routines and expectations of their new classrooms. What is even more impressive, is that all students are wearing our lovely green and gold uniform with pride, and looking out for each other.

Already you can sense that 2019 is going to be an exciting year of learning and opportunity. Class Placement/Class Names Executive and teaching staff have taken a considerable amount of time and care to ensure that all students have been appropriately placed in classes.

This year our classes have been named to celebrate 50 years since the first moon landing.

Welcome BBQ/Information Evening I look forward to meeting with you at our Welcome BBQ/Information Evening on Monday 18th February. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents and find out from your child’s teacher, expectations and programs they have in place for 2019. 6pm - K Astronauts, K/1 NASA, 1/2 Apollo, 2 Rockets. 6:30pm - 3 Gravity, 3/4Tranquility, 4 Armstrong.

7pm - 5 Milky Way, 5/6 Lunar, 5/6 Meteor, 6 Eclipse.

This will be followed by our first P&C meeting for the year at 7.30pm. Student Information Sheet Last week all students received a green Student Information Sheet, including a general and media

Jasmine Hearn joins our SLSO team and is looking forward to working alongside our teachers delivering special programs for our students.

Congratulations are also extended to Mr Robert Fajks who will take on the role of Relieving Assistant Principal Stage 2 while Megan Baker is on leave.
