Dear Parents and Caregivers,

What a great start we have all had to 2019 at The Pines School. The first few weeks of this year we

have had all of our students working hard on setting a positive atmosphere in their classrooms, getting

to know each other, and setting up routines and expectations. All classes have also been participating in

the Child Protection Curriculum and the importance of safe relationships. At our school we aim to create

a safe and supportive school community for everyone.

Last year we started implementing Positive Education as our whole-school approach to well-being. This

term all classes from the Preschool to Year 7 will be working on the character strength ‘Team Work.’

They have been learning the importance of working together and collaborating with their peers.

We hope that your children will share their learning with you throughout the term.

Kind Regards

Jacqui Simpson
