THE PLACING OF AN ORDER IS ACCEPTANCE OF OUR GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.All retail prices include VAT at the current rate of 20% where applicable. Books and catalogues are currently zero rated items so are exempt from VAT. If the rate and scope of VAT change retail prices will be adjusted accordingly. Trade prices are net, and VAT must be added at the current rate to all inland orders (and EU orders if no VAT number is available). Channel Islands will not be charged VAT but will incur postage charges - see below.

• 2. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All goods are invoiced at price ruling at time of despatch and are subject to alteration due to currency fluctuations and manufacturer’s revision. We will endeavour to contact you if the price has significantly changed.

• 3. UK mainland carriage paid order for UK mainland orders over £75 invoice value. Orders below this amount will be charged postage at cost. Parcels (anything over 2kg) sent to the following UK areas will be charged a surcharge per parcel: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Wight & Isles of Scilly - please contact us for details of this surcharge.

• 4. Any goods that have to be ordered in including supplements cannot be returned and we would prefer that a valid card payment is given when placing orders for non stock items. Goods are NOT supplied on sale or return. If you need to return faulty goods please contact us before returning them.

• 5. We will do our best to despatch your order, or part of your order, as quickly as possible. If you would like your parcel delivered on a particular day please let us know. If we are not able to despatch the whole of your order we may decide to part ship your order, or hold back despatch if stock is due to arrive in the near future - we will inform you of any extended delays in supplying any part of your order.

• 6. Postage is always extra on Overseas orders, including the Channel Islands, and charged at rates prevailing at time of despatch, we will always try and get the most economic price for your delivery costs.

• 7. Should a parcel arrive damaged in transit please notify us immediately. Keeping all the packaging for inspection.

• 8. Overseas goods are sent at consignee’s risk unless we are specifically instructed to send by insured postal service. We would always recommend using a tracked and insured postal service for Overseas orders. We are happy to provide quotes. Any customs or duties payable are the responsibility of the receiver.

• 9. Credit Account – subject to approval and only valid for accounts that have activity in the previous 6 months and for an order with an invoice value over £100 (For orders below £100 we kindly request that payment is given with the order to cut down on our administration costs.). Payments – 21 days from invoice date. Charges for overdue invoices may be incurred. Goods remain the property of the company until payment is made in full. If your account is not kept up to date we reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities without notice.

Early payment discounts are available for account customers - if the invoice is settled within 7 days of issue, 3% discount can be deducted from the net goods total. Your invoice will show both the non-discount amount and the early payment discount amount - we are happy to hold you card details and charge when the amount becomes due.

11. Overseas credit account customers will now be required to provide credit card details when placing an order - this will be charged on despatch taking advantage of the early payment discount.

WATERMARK DETECTORS

Sometimes difficult to detect with the naked eye watermarks on stamps can greatly affect the value of the stamp, we offer a wide range of different detectors.

PRINZ SUPERSAFE WATERMARK FLUID Safe to use on all stamps, fast and easy. Place stamp face down in a container, apply some fluid, ideally with a dropper bottle, and the the watermark will appear after a short time. SAFE SIGNOSCOPE ELECTRONIC WATERMARK DETECTORAvailable in two formats the Safe electronic watermark detectors both use light and pressure to detect watermarks. Gard back Opening Stamp MountsThe Gard style mount is sealed on both the top and bottom of the mount and is split in the middle of the back of the stamp mount.This style is designed to hold the stamp, block or larger item much more securely - ideal for heavier items.These mounts also have an adhesive backing, you only need to lightly moisten the top half of the backing - this allows you to easily insert and remove your stamps from the mount. which affixed to your album pages.

Gard mounts are also available in black backed or clear backed, in cut to size or in strips for you to cut to size using a suitable cutter. The main brand we offer are Prinz (which have a crystal clear top foil) - we can obtain Showgard (which have a semi-matt top foil) but this will be on a to-order basis only. Both brands use high quality archival safe materials.

CUSTOM MADE STAMP MOUNTSIt is possible for us to produce, subject to a minimum order quantity of 500 mounts, stamp mounts made to your exact specification. In Gard or Standard, Black or Clear backed and in semi-matt top foil (same as Hawid) or crystal clear top foil (same as Prinz).
