The secret process for an attractive sketch

According to Wikipedia, a sketch is defined as a rapidly executed freehand drawing that is not usually intended as a finished work. There are 4 types of sketch, which are pencil sketch, computer sketch, oil sketch, portrait sketch and more. What you need to prepare before do your sketching? A pencil and a piece of paper will do. Sketching is the simplest way of drawing something on a piece of paper, it’s like capture what you see in your eye and transpose it to the paper, similar like a camera. Firstly, each of us we must start from the beginning such as when we just born and we are starting to crawl then, walk then jump. Everything needs a process and improvement. Same as every drawing must start from basic which is circle, square, rectangle and so on. Sketching too. Leonardo da Vinci sketched The Vitruvian Man. According to the Internet Leonardo da Vinci took few years to complete this sketch. The sketch has no time limit it can be a few hours, few minutes, few seconds and also few years. It depends how the sketcher requires for his or her limit on their sketch work.

Then, most of the sketches are in black and white, so it uses darkness, lightness, and shadow to present the object. When a people do sketching usually they will have lots of short and also quick strokes. This will give he or she more chance to get the right and great line or shape that he or she wanted to and also easier to erase the line or shape that they think isn’t suitable to choose their best fit of the object. Someone will have the question of what is the best pencil for sketching. A lot of good professional artist has their own preferences, they use different kind of pencil and tool varies from person to person, some professional artist even draw with just a regular mechanical pencil with hard lead. There are thousands of drawing pencils. An artist cannot live without a pencil, same as a chef cannot live without a wok. These generally come in sets of 9B to 9H and are what most new artists begin using. Lastly, the most important on sketching is do not scare to make mistakes because, that is not an actual drawing that need to be marked, and practice makes perfect. Sketching drives a very important starting to a perfect drawing it’s like the process to draw a good artwork. In the dramas designer always draw on papers and just simply throw the papers into the dustbin. Those are sketches that they think can’t match or reach what are they thinking in their mind because all of us are aiming for the best that can connect to our mind with what are we doing in and present it into a paper. Which paper is suitable for sketching? Sketch paper is meant for large, quick sketches in dry media without much detail. It is differentiate by what’s the sketcher’s expectation. For rough practice sketches, pretty much any paper will do. In a nutshell, sketching is not only working on hand to draw also use our brain, eye and even our lungs to breath and get in the imagination or environment that suppose to get in. For me it is also a training process in my life. While we are doing sketch work, we need to concentrate. For me, I need to have a great and silent environment to really start my sketch work. It’s also

a test of concentration to test how long we can stay in a silent minded and heart place. When the sketch is done, it feels like success and victory. It had taken a lot of time and concentration of our brain to complete the sketch. For the final complete sketch, usually for an architect they used to get more idea for their actual drawing in their project construction. In the final drawing of an architect, it contains and also including those sketches which was chosen or the best for the final drawing.
