Whether it is an animated die assembly instruction, parts catalog, or work station instruction, Cortona3D authored content is a powerful output of the CAD data that helps businesses eliminate waste from shooting and editing traditional video or manually developing parts catalogs. Marketing-quality technical images are often required to support a product launch or ongoing marketing activities.

Tier ApproachAfter the PLM Vision has been created, an approach of project on-boarding is used to manage cross-functional expectations and establish end-to-end processes before unveiling technology.

Parts Planning Application (PPA)Our patent-pending Parts Planning Application was developed as an extension of our Teamcenter-to-SharePoint integration and enables enhanced cross-functional collaboration by providing the aggregation of product structure and attributes owned by the PDM system and the transactional data from ERP into a single interface within SharePoint. This interface also allows global product development teams to contribute by managing the attributes they own for transient content like drawing release dates, build events, product costs, and more. Use of this tool helps enable key decisions sooner in the product program that keeps costs under control and teams more productive by reducing the number of meetings each week so the product teams have more time to focus on product craftsmanship and innovation rather than finding data and generating reports.
