ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEMAs the new standard for protecting aircraft from damage caused

by operator error, the Smart Sense™ system provides ultimate

protection for ramp operations.

If the vehicle is over 1.8 m from the

aircraft, the indicator light will show

green and the speed will be limited to

5.6 km/h.

A red indicator light will appear and

the vehicle will be automatically

stopped if the vehicle is less than

5cm from the aircraft. The vehicle will

also automatically stop if the operator

leaves the seat while the vehicle is

in motion or if the system has a fault

requiring a check.

GREEN LIGHT RED LIGHTYELLOW LIGHTThe indicator light will flash yellow and

the speed will be limited to 0.8 km/h

when the vehicle is less than

1.8 m from the aircraft.

When the vehicle is within 5-10 cm of

the aircraft, the light turns solid yellow

and the vehicle cannot move forward.

Ultra-sonic sensors attached to the front of the vehicle measure

distance to nearby objects.
