SAFETY STANDARD

ANSI Z87.1-2010 establishes performance criteria and testing requirements for devices used to protect the eyes and face from injuries resulting from impact, non-ionizing radiation and chemical exposure in workplaces and schools. It covers all types of protector configurations including spectacles (plano and prescription), goggles, faceshields, welding helmets and full facepiece respirators.

The ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard is an update to the previous Z.87.1-2003 version which focuses on hazards at the workplace instead of the type of protective wear.

All BRAND X frames and lenses meet Z87+ and offer protection from the common workplace hazards: Optical radiation, Impact, High Velocity, Droplet, Splash, Dust, Fine dust particles.

Indoor/Outdoor lenses are made for the person who is on the movefrequently and switching between lighting environments. The mirroredsurface slightly reduces glare while maintaining original color.

HC HC-Blue / Natural Gray - These lenses are designed to lighten up your fieldof vision and make the contrast of colors more vivid.

High Definition lenses provide crystal clear vision with most detail.Specially designed to filter damaging UV light and transmit colors in order to increase clarity within the light spectrum.

Polarized lenses reduce glare to a single spot in the field of view. The special filters in the lens block the reflected lightwaves and allow normal vision.

Anti Fog lenses are covered with a special coating that activates whentemperature change is detected. Whether you switch from cold to warm,or perspire more and cause your lenses to fog, the antifogging coatingdoesnt allow moist build up on the lens.

Anti Scratch coatings are applied in order to protect the lens from minorscratches during everyday use. The coating bonds with the lens andreduces appearance of srcathes.
