Take out Stand Bottom Cover

1. Put the machine on the working table (Fig. 1).

Place the machine as illustrated.

2. First unscrew (Cross × 7) 7 screws (Fig. 2),

then unscrew (Cross × 8) 8 screws (Fig. 2, 3).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

3. Take out Stand Bottom Cover from the top

side.

1. First disconnect the FAN cable, then unscrew

(Cross × 3) all joints to take out FAN (Fig. 1).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

2. Take out Hinge Stand screw (Fig. 2).

Press the screwdriver hard to the screw hole

to avoid stripping the screw.

1. If machine is equipped with SSD, then

unscrew (Cross × 1) one screw to take out

SSD (Fig. 1).

2. First disconnect WLAN antennas, then

unscrew (Cross × 1) one screw to take out

WLAN card (Fig. 2).

3. Disconnect all the cables from the following

connectors on M/B (Fig. 3, 4).

Connectors: Scalar-1, Scalar-2, Scalar-3,

HDD.

upwards HDD ASS’Y to take out (Fig. 1).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

2. Unscrew (× 4) the joints to take out HDD

bracket (Fig. 2).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

3. First unscrew (× 2) the joints of HDD cable,

then separate HDD cable and HDD (Fig. 3).

Take out Thermal Module & GPU board

1. Unscrew nine screws (× 9) to take out

Thermal Module with GPU part, then take out

GPU board (Fig. 1, 3); unscrew five screws

(× 5) to take out Thermal Module w/o GPU

part (Fig. 2, 3).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

Unscrew the screw #1 half, then unscrew the

others, and finally unscrew the #1 to prevent

deformation of Thermal Module.

Take out Speaker mesh and screws

1. Press the both sides of Speaker mesh to

separate the hooks and Stand Cover Top,

then take out Speaker mesh in the direction

from the both sides to the middle (Fig. 1).

2. Turn over Stand Cover Top, then unscrew

(Cross × 8) all joints (Fig. 2, 3).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

2. Take out Dongle Module, then pull out its

cable (Fig. 2).

3. Unscrew (Cross × 5) all joints to take out M/B,

then disconnect Dongle cable on M/B (Fig. 3).

Take out M/B obliquely upwards from the

opposite direction of the connector side of

the cover.

2. Take out STAND ARM_REAR COVER.

3. Unscrew the hexagonal screw.

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

4. Unscrew the joint of STAND ARM_FRONT

COVER.

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

5. Thread cables through Hinge Stand, then

take out Hinge Stand.

Take out Rear Cover 1.00 2016/11/17

Plastic Stick 1

1. Press the region of webcam to pull open

Rear Cover.

2. Use the stick to pull open the region of

webcam for lever force to unfix the hooks

between the Rear Cover and Middle Cover.

3. First hold the region of webcam, then insert

fingers inside to upwards pull open the inner

hooks to take out Rear Cover.

When pull out cables from Rear Cover, be

careful not to scrape Rear Cover.

Take out CCD Module

1. Take out Springs (× 2) (Fig. 1).

2. Unscrew (× 4) all joints to take out CCD

bracket (Fig. 2).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

3. Take out CCD Module, then unscrew (× 3) all

joints to take out bracket (Fig. 3).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

4. Take out CCD and pull out CCD cables (Fig.

4).

Tear off CCD slowly to avoid breaking CCD.

5. Tear off webcam Windoor PMMA (Fig. 5).

1. Unscrew (× 1) to take out Reduction Gear

(Fig. 1).

Take the screwdriver vertically to the screw

holes.

2. Take out Door Lock (Fig. 1).

3. Take out Holder Sensor Cable (Fig. 2).

Need to pry open the hook obliquely to take

out Holder Sensor Cable.

4. Unscrew (× 7) to take out Base Pan (Fig. 3).

1. Pull open slowly the bottom side of inner

hooks, then upwards pull up to take out Front

Bezel.

When pull out cables from Rear Cover, be

careful not to scrape Rear Cover.
