The patented Bulldog Evolution E2 wickless envelope system is engineered to provide you with an alternative to cloth or rubber wicking. The internal crown area of the Evolution E2 envelope is molded with venting channels that accommodate airflow into and out of the envelope. CARE AND FEEDING FOR YOUR BULLDOG ENVELOPES

u Snug Fit is Important

• Make sure your envelope is the right size for the tire you are retreading. Reference our fitment chart, or contact us for the recommended envelope size.

u Do Not Trap Envelope Between J-Hook and Tire Bead

• After the cure cycle, when removing the sealing rings, fold the skirt edge out of the way before resting the weight of the tire back on the j-hook.

u Valve Position Between 5 o’clock and 7 o’clock

• Properly positioning your envelope on the tire so that the valve is between 5 o’clock and 7 o’clock when on the monorail helps prevent valve problems, leaking risks, and early failure.

u Hot Rubber Cuts More Easily

• Habitually check your j-hooks, sealing rings and mechanical envelope spreaders for any rough edges or burrs that may damage a hot envelope.

u Rotate Envelopes for Sufficient “Off the Tire” Cooling Time

• Cooling between cures accommodates the rubber “elastic memory,” extending envelope life.

u Store Envelopes Flat After Each Cure

• Neat “pancake” stacks allows the envelope to properly cool and retain its correct shape.

plant. Lost pressure from coupling leaks, cushion migration from vacuum blockage, and stress around the valve base, can result in costly miscures, re-runs, and decreased envelope service life.

Shamrock’s J-Hook striping is marked clearly on both sides of the envelope to show the operator where to place the J-hook. And because our valve is 150 degrees from the J-Hook stripe the

valve will be in the right position for the chamber every time!

Founded in 1992, Shamrock Marketing, Inc. is a family-owned business headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.

In their 40,000 square foot facility, they assemble machinery, ship and receive new and used equipment, and perform maintenance. The company maintains a multilingual sales and customer service staff. They have become the exclusive distributor for North and South America for Akarmak, a Turkish manufacturer of retreading equipment. This manufacturer is well known in Europe, but is new to the United States. They manufacture all types of very modern retreading equipment up through 63·inch giant tires with advanced computer technology.

Shamrock has installed a complete retread system in their Louisville, Kentucky facility using the Akarmak, Marigo, and Zeiss equipment. This plant is used to demonstrate the function of the

different machines, as well as train customers who purchase the equipment. This service would provide potential customers with the opportunity to see and try any of the equipment or any used equipment that Shamrock has in their plant.

For customers who purchase equipment, Shamrock can provide training on the operation and maintenance of the equipment before it is installed in the customer’s plant. Most of the new equipment is on site, including a 28-tire electric chamber, a computerized buffer, monorail system and all the other equipment for a complete retread plant.

Shamrock also has committed to maintaining a sufficient spare parts inventory for all of the equipment they sell.
