The Pico NodeB is a fully self contained pico cell radio base station that enhances coverage and capacity in 3G (UMTS) system. It connects to the UTRAN network using the IuB interface. This single base station can provide 250 mW power output and feature a capacity of up to 80 users and 6kg (13lb) in weight.
The product is designed for indoor use. It’s compact size and light weight allows deployment flexibility during installation. The intuitive design also accommodates a low power consumption and uses self-convection cooling, offering a noise free operation. You can use the internal antenna or use external antennas to tailor the coverage characteristics. This pico base station is powerful enough to support High speed package access (HSPA) and also cost-effective to support coverage in low traffic areas. This single NodeB offers both coverage and capacity benefits
