HYBRID SUMMARY CHART
This chart presents the Cornelius Seed hybrid line-up in traits and non-traited columns. It also shows the hybrids in rows ranging from early to late maturing hybrids proceeding down the page.
ABOUT OUR HYBRID NAMESC denotes CORNELIUS
The next three numbers represent approximate maturity on a 200-800 north to south scale, with 200 being in the far north. (An example is C282 is bred to maximize yields in the north part of our marketing area while C655 is bred to maximize yields in the south.) See Zone Map on page 5. After these numbers, use the information on page 4 to determine the meaning of the letters. For the new four digit hybrid names, add 40 to the first two numbers to calculate Relative Maturity.

USING OUR CORN MATURITY MAP
Maturity zone maps, which differ slightly from company to company, show areas that have similar temperature, climate, frost-free dates and killing frost dates. Hybrids tend to mature similarly across these zones. Throughout this product guide, you’ll find hybrids we recommend for specific zones, depending upon specific hybrid traits.

TRAIT INSECT CONTROL
Best Management PracticesIn high Corn Rootworm (CRW) pressure fields, where single mode of action rootworm traits have been planted for multiple years, increased feeding has been documented. Continuous corn on corn with a single mode of action is not sustainable practice for control of CRW. To regain control of CRW populations, incorporating multiple tactics should be used.
Control Tactics1. Crop rotation is one of the most effective methods to lower CRW pressure
in a field.
2. Plant hybrids with trait stacks containing multiple modes of action against CRW.
3. Growers can utilize a soil-applied insecticide at planting to control CRW larvae.
4. Higher rates of seed-applied insecticide, such as CruiserMaxx Corn® 1250, aid in control of CRW Larvae.
5. Foliar application(s) of insecticide(s) can be used to control beetles, which can reduce egg laying and subsequent CRW larvae the following year.
CruiserMaxx® Corn 250 insecticide/fungicide seed treatment, a combination of separately registered products, offers broad-spectrum protection against early-season insects and seedborne and soilborne diseases.
Poncho® 250*, Acceleron® 250* and Poncho/Votivo 500* provides control of wireworm, Seedcorn maggot and white grub with suppression of black cut worm, chinch bug, corn flea beetle, Seedcorn beetle and corn leaf aphid. For greater and longer efficacy against aforementioned secondary insects, Poncho®/VOTiVO® offers a higher insecticide rate as well as protection against nematodes causing damage to corn.
CruiserMaxx® Corn 1250 insecticide/fungicide seed treatment, a combination of separately registered products, offers broad-spectrum protection against early-season insects, including corn rootworm, and seedborne and soilborne diseases.
CruiserMaxx® Vibrance® Corn, a combination of separately registered products, is an insecticide/fungicide seed treatment that offers superior insect and disease protection with enhanced root health.
CruiserMaxx Corn 250 is an on-seed application of Cruiser 5FS insecticide delivered at the 0.25 mg a.i./seed rate and MaximQuattro fungicide. Cruiser®, CruiserMaxx® and Maxim® are registered trademarks of a Syngenta Group Company.
CruiserMaxx Corn 1250 is an on-seed application of Cruiser 5FS insecticide delivered at the 1.25 mg a.i./seed rate and MaximQuattro fungicide. Cruiser®, CruiserMaxx® and Maxim® are registered trademarks of a Syngenta Group Company.
CruiserMaxx Vibrance Corn is an on-seed application of Cruiser 5FS insecticide delivered at the 0.25, 0.50 or 1.25 mg a.i./seed rate, Vibrance Cinco or Maxim Quattro and Vibrance fungicides. Cruiser®, CruiserMaxx®, Maxim® and Vibrance® are registered trademarks of a Syngenta Group Company.
*CruiserMaxx Corn 250 contains the 0.25 mg ai/seed rate of thiamethoxam(Cruiser®) and Poncho 250 & Acceleron 250 contain the 0.25 mg ai/seed rate of clothianidin (Poncho). Poncho/VOTiVO contains the 0.50 mg ai/seed rate of clothianidin (Poncho).

As a new Cornelius Seed rep, I really appreciate the support I have received establishing my dealership. It was a challenging planting season, but Cornelius had the products I needed for my customers.
Soybean treatment assists in optimizing seeding rate, improving emergence and protecting seedlings.
Profit Guard™ (Fungicide/Insecticide)Our most popular seed treatment package provides yield protection against a broad spectrum of harmful seed and foliar insects as well as all major seedborne and soilborne fungal diseases.
Profit Guard Plus™ (Fungicide/Insecticide/Nematicide)This premium seed treatment has all the benefits of Profit Guard™ plus a nematicide to prevent damage from nematodes. It also protects against Fusarium viguliforme which causes Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS).
Fungal Guard (Fungicide)This basic treatment package provides several modes of action to protect against multiple fungal diseases: Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia and Phytophthora.

Cornelius C160A is an elite fall dormancy 5 variety selected for high forage yield, superior quality, and excellent winter hardiness. It is adapted to all
of Cornelius Country for the traditional four-cut by mid-September system, but will handle more aggressive cutting if the producer’s goal is yield and
maximum forage quality due to its rapid recovery after harvest.
Cornelius C135A is a 50/50 blend of the trusted go-anywhere branch rooted 130A with a newer higher quality alfalfa with better Aphanomyces
resistance providing an even better choice to spread risk and profit on every acre. Ready for extra traffic with extreme disease tolerance, C135A is
your choice for a longer rotation alfalfa.
Cornelius 85A is a blend of two exceptional winter hardy alfalfas offering great yields, a broad genetic base to withstand a wide range of adverse
growing conditions, winter hardiness for prolonged stands and exceptional resistance to major alfalfa pests and diseases.
Cornelius 65A is the economical alfalfa blend for short rotation programs. It copes with adverse weather and disease conditions while showing winter
hardiness. Cornelius 65A is a fine-stemmed, very leafy, fast recovery blend adapted to the upper Midwest.
FF42LH is your go-to option when concerned about leafhopper damage in your field. FF42LH has a 30/30 disease index rating, providing great
resistance to yield robbing diseases and pests.
