PLT Part Number Key
The following is a description of the part numbers system to be used with the PLT Product line. The only changes from the PL Part Number Scheme to the PLT Part Number Scheme is the options portion. All options within the UPS are now pulled into the part number at the time of the quote. Due to the number of possible configurations, the last few digits of the part number, the option matrix, is different from that of the PL Series. As more options become available. The options matrix portion will be revised by the preceding work will not be altered to maintain historical configurations and purchases.

PLT Part Number Key (Options Matrix)
Options and combination of options will cause the matrix to grow over time. This gets us away from line item entry of options and truly combines them into the Bill of Materials. This makes repeat order easier and captures all cost associated with the order. No more hand holding things through the factory to get the customer’s request fulfilled!

Hot topic SNMP. SNMP now has a few options of its own.SNMPSNMP with environmental sensorSNMP with environmental sensor & remote input*SNMP, UPS & BMS as noted below
BMS - Coming soon will be a more cost effective solution. The new BMS will have the ability to integrate the UPS telemetry. That’s right, one device over IP that give you UPS status and battery status plus IF compliance. The new model BMS will be able to load balance the batteries under float conditions.
Current wireless version of the BMS will be upgraded once all inventory is sold to also allow cell balancing under float conditions. We’ll soon have two BMS options, a wired version and a the current wireless version but again, once inventory is sold, a newer version of that.
Stay tuned for future announcements on the BMS
