Çankırı Karatekin University, which is a university that offers all the facilities of Çankırı, which is the city where it is located, with its historical places, natural beauties and ease of transportation, provides many opportunities for its students to access these opportunities by making many free trip activities.

Çankırı is a city where a lot of social activity can be done, by hosting many places to be seen like Ilgaz Mountain National Park and by its distance (130 km) to the capital Ankara. In this sense, Çankırı Karatekin University offers its students an education life that they can live to the fullest in terms of transportation opportunities and location. With free one-day trips organized by the university; opportunity to experience skiing, hiking, mountain climbing and many other sports is given. In Çankırı, which is one of the safest cities of Turkey, there are 4 state dormitories as 2 for girls and 2 for boys. There are various private and government dormitories to meet the current number of students. Çankırı is distinguished with its calm, low-cost structure and safe environment. It is one of the cities with the least crime rate in Turkey.While one of the state dormitories for girls is located in Uluyazı Campus, all of the other dormitories are located in city center.

Continuing its education with its local and foreign expert teaching staff, Çankırı Karatekin University Language Learning Center offers Turkish lessons to equally improve the speaking, writing, listening and reading skills of international students from many different countries. The center, which has language laboratories equipped with the newest technology, also includes interactive classes that enable group work.

State University Ranking of Çankırı Karatekin University

is 55th. The ranking calculated in the light

of the data obtained by calculating the academic

incentive scores from nine types of activities

exhibition, patent, citation, notification and award.

ÇAKÜ leaped forward 35 lines higher than last 3

years. According to quality experts, this refers to a

“radical change”.

URAPLocated in METU Informatics Institute within the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory from 2009 until now, the universities in Turkey are listed according to their academic performance. In the ranking of Turkey, Web of Science/InCites data published by the Higher Education Council and international resources are used. We hope that this ranking system developed by URAP for our universities will help each university to learn about its own placement.. We believe that our universities will increase their ranking in the world rankings within a certain period of time by seeing their shortcomings and improving themselves. Currently, our universities have a better place in the world than many European universities. Despite all the financial difficulties and staff problems, our universities are among the best universities in the world in international rankings. Çankırı Karatekin University, ÇAKÜ has ranked as the 19th among the state universities in Turkey.

ÇAKÜ has presented 55 pieces of the scientific projects to the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). ÇAKÜ ranks 56 among the State Universities in Turkey in the field areas of support by TUBITAK.

SUCCESSFUL RANKING IN TUBITAK THE SCIENTIFIC ANDTECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF TURKEY

Çankırı Karatekin University, ÇAKÜ has become the 2nd university of 207 Turkish universities and become the 1st of the universities founded after 2007 for its number of funded projects with Erasmus+ KA107. Within the scope of KA107 project, mutual academic-administrative staff and student exchange mobility is going to take place with our university in Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Algeria, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Ghana, Djibouti, and Cameroon.

Bilateral agreement was signed between Çankırı Karatekin University and Dar El-Hadith El-Hassania University in Rabat, and Rabat Yunus Emre Institute regarding the First Taşmescit Dar-ül Hadis in Anatolia.

Çankırı Karatekin University Teknokent Manager and ÇAKÜ Teknokent business names were registered with Çankırı Teknokent, which was implemented with the participation and support of Çankırı Governorate, Yakınkent Organization Industrial Zone, Çankırı Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the leadership of Çankırı Karatekin University.

Universities have been established to produce science in order to bring the industry of the country to an internationally competitive and export-oriented structure by collaborating with research institutions and organizations and production sectors.

In this context;With generating technological knowledge, developing innovations in products and production methods, product quality and standards will be improved to increase productivity. This will serve to a variety of purposes such as the reduction in the production costs. Technopolis is going to provide a great contribution by providing employment opportunities to Çankırı and Turkey's economy.
