To maintain your Franke sink, tapsand accessories in pristine condition,here are some hints on keepingthem clean, well maintained and prop-erly installed. Stubborn stains can beremoved from Fragranite sinks withbiological washing powder, a concen-tration of dishwasher powder (some-times left overnight) or ‘Bar KeepersFriend’.

Stainless steel sinks can be cleanedwith proprietary cleaners such as‘Shiny Sinks’.

When taps are fitted they may requirebracing on the underside of the sink.Additional support can be achieved bybattening the tap tails to the cabinetor wall. Please note that compressionfittings must be used (see InstallationInstructions). Clean only with milddetergent and never use proprietarycleaners, otherwise the guarantee may be invalidated.

Chopping boards should be regularlyoiled to prolong life and should bedried by inverting them to avoid warp-ing. Baskets should never have sharpobjects placed in them, since this willcut the coating and reduce the bas-ket’s working life.

When fitting a waste disposal unit to asingle bowl sink, you will need a con-nection kit for connecting the overflowto the unit. Alternatively, a blankingplate may be required.

*Whilst these are our suggestions for keeping yourFranke sinks and accessories clean, you should alwaysread manufacturers’ instructions before using any ofthe cleaning products and processes described inorder to ensure that you do not damage surfaces ormaterials.
