Background Las Vegas has never been home to one of the four pro
sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NHL, & NBA) We would like to bring the fist NBA team to this market!
The Past
The city of Las Vegas has hosted an NBA event in the past, the 2007 NBA All-Star Game
The event was held at The Thomas and Mack Center (Home of UNLV)
• Multiple NBA teams have been rumored to be moving their organization to Las Vegas, including the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings
• The Men’s US Olympic team’s from 2008 & 2012 trained in Las Vegas, playing in The Thomas and Mack Center
The Present
The NBA summer league is currently held in Paradise, NV. Providing a great location for scouting for a team moving to Las Vegas
Location, Location, Location
If a team moved out to Las Vegas, where could they play?
There are multiple arena’s already in Las Vegas and another on the way.

Basketball Tournament, Minor League Hockey, Arena Football, & Indoor Soccer

The Future
The Las Vegas Arena Scheduled to break ground May 1st 2014 Going to be placed right on the middle of the strip, between
the casinos Expected to seat 20,000 Includes shopping outlets, a park, and a plaza The entrance will feature a glass video layout playing images
of the athletes that will be 12 stories tall The Arena will also be privately funded, so it will not be a
strain on the local economy
