1 PROFILE: Over a tenure of 28+ years of teaching in B.Sc(Hons), M.Sc., P.G.Dip. in Hydrogeology, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programme as a Professor in the subjects like Structural Geology & Tectonics and Remote Sensing & GIS, I have handled extensive research projects in Strucrural Geology, Remote Sensing and GIS with critical observation and analysis of High Resolution Satellite data (Landsat-TM, ETM+ and IRS data) from 1980 till to date. I have completed Council of Science & Technology, Govt. of U.P research project as a Principle Investigator (2010-2013). Main objective is to teach and supervise research work to higher class students in Structural Geology& tectonics and Remote Sensing& GIS. I served a Professor in GIS & Remote Sensing in Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, Africa under UNDP/World Bank funded Graduate Programme (Ministry of Education, FDR, Ethiopia, Africa) from 2005 - 2007. I have 34+ years of research experiences in remote sensing and image processing, photogrammetry and fields applied to land information systems development and Structural Geology & Tectonics and published some of my papers in: 1. Teaching Structural Geology, Basic and Advance Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System (ERDAS and ArcGIS software). Thesis guidance to Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.Sc.(Applied Geology) dissertation. 34+ years of research experience. Since 1980 I have started my research career in Photogrammetry/Remote Sensing and completed my Master of Philosophy Degree in Remote Sensing. My M.Phil. Topic is “Photogeology and Geomorphology of Parsoli-Bichor Syncline, Vindhyan Basin, Rajasthan.” After that I have completed my Ph.D. in topic“Geology of the Debari Group with particular reference to structural fabric in Jaisamand sector, Udaipur district,Rajasthan”. After that I have completed my P.G. Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS with project on topics “Geological and Geomorphological Studies in parts of Garhwal Himalayas between Rishikesh and Satpuli area, Uttar Pradesh using Remote Sensing Techniques with selective field check”. I have been supervising for research and dissertation for post-graduate students and post-graduate diploma in Hydrogeology students since 1988.Under my supervision five of my students have awarded M. Phil. and two of research student has awarded Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and GIS applications. So far I have published 35 papers in International & National journals of repute.
