    TENTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR INTELLIGENCE EDUCATION

    VARYING APPROACHES TO INTELLIGENCE EDUCATION

    MERCYHURST UNIVERSITY

    July 14-16, 2014

    The past decade has witnessed significant growth in intelligence studies programs across the US and

    worldwide, in large part due to the events of 9/11 and their aftermath.

    This years IAFIE gathering will concentrate on two contemporary approaches to the academic

    intelligence studies discipline. The first is the Traditional scholarly approach found in most

    institutions; while a second Applied approach has developed with considerable success over the past

    20 years. This years conference will concentrate on these approaches and two tracks will be

    established to showcase each.

    At 10:00 am the conference will split into two tracks:

    Traditional (T) Intelligence Studies panels and Applied (A) Intelligence Studies TED-like presentations,

    both following the same time schedule.

    Traditional Track (T) will be held in the Center for Academic Achievement (CAE), Room 300.

    Applied Track (A) will be held in Walker Hall, Hirt Building, Room 214J.
