On October the 29th, 30th and 31st, the valley of Sóller will host the I International Days of Hiking and Mountain Tourism, an event that has been carried out jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and Work of the Balearic Islands, Sóller Town Hall, the Hotel Association of Sóller and the Federación Balear de Montaña. This first edition is expected to have the participation of different national and international representatives related to the world of hiking and mountain tourism.

These days would constitute a forum for exchange of knowledge, experience, and reflections on hiking and its development as a tourist product. Different specialists in the field will present speaches such as the existing supply of mountain tourism in Spain and the rest of Europe, strategies for the promotion and marketing of mountain tourism as an important factor in the season or the professionalization of the activities around hiking and mountain tourism with the aim of analysing the situatioprospects for the future. Duration: 3 h 10.00 am Excursion: Puerto de Sóller - Viewpoint of ses Barques – Fornalutx - Sóller Difficulty medium. Duration: 3 and a half hours 10.00 am Excursion: Deià-Sóller The transfer from Puerto de Sóller to Deià shall be carried out by bus. Difficulty medium. Duration: 3 h 10.00 am Excursion: Puerto de Sóller - Faro de Bàlitx - Finca de Bàlitx –Bens d'Avall, Son Bleda- Path of Binidorm - Sóller. Difficulty low. Duration: 3 h
