BARTENDBOARD DESIGN
Bartend: Last Call! Bartend is an educational game for the masses that want to learn how to bartend; and for those who already know how. It combines a variety of different styles of bartending for the average player, filled with plenty of adult fun. This game combines drinks, New York style lighting and sleek design, and game design into a fun filled happy hour. This game involves learning terminology, cocktail mixtures, and tricks of the trade all while trying to beat your friends to the end of the game. This game aims to educate the masses on Bartending, and the fact that anyone can bartend. Also educating them on the rules and regulations into consideration, kind of like going to bartending classes without the class, or the fees or the license. The audience that this game is trying to reach out to is adults 20 and over for the reasons of legality. The reason I chose this project is because when a person is learning to bartend its more over, here’s a recipe, here’s the bottles, mix it; and learn to smile. That mentality is somewhat boring don’t you think? I thought bringing people together who want to learn can have fun, and even have a drink themselves while they learn.
FAST PASS 2.0 The intention of this project is to provide Disney with up to date technology. Disney’s Imagineers are always looking for new products that will increase productivity and help guests enjoy their magic experience more. The problem this will solve is aiming towards saving Disney some money in the sense of paper and ink, also allowing more than one guest to use a station at any point in time, and who said Fast Pass has to be limited to rides? Why not extends the Fast Pass to other aspects such as shows? Such as dinner reservations, hotel reservations, etc? This allows Disney to multi-‐task their guests in many ways, by tapping into new technology, aka smartphones: ipods, iphones, android, etc….. The audience that is project is going to reach is really anyone that attends Disney world, anyone that is tech-‐savvy at least. This allows people to interact more with the parks. My motivation for this is really my entrance into last years Imaginations Competition, I am considering this my project for this year’s competition; it’s a small aspect of the project but a major part at the same time so I figured this would be a good insertion.
