ABOUTprojectgabriela is an AIESEC initiative that advocates the importance of entrepreneurial knowledge in establishing sustainable busi-ness that would help the women of Sitio San Gabriel generate income for their basic needs. You will get the chance to promote positive change through educating communities about financial management, business ethics and ba-sic accounting in order to move towards pro-ductivity in alleviating poverty for a more sus-tainable means of living for the Filipinos.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Prepare to LIVE LIKE A LOCAL as you immerse in the Filipino lifestyle and

experience the culture first hand.

Get ready to LEARN TOGETHER with the beneficiaries as you undergo workshops with

experts to enhance their knowledge on basic accounting, financial management and business ethics through

training seminars led by you as well.

Claim the GLOBAL CITIZEN in you, as you get exposed to social realities in the Philippines, mainly focusing on the entrepreneurial knowledge of the underprivileged Filipinos.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

WORK FROM THE HEARTWork towards the improvement of the existing business in the community by also exhibiting good work ethics.

Take charge of your experience to make it worthwhile.

FUND RAISING EVENTYou will have to come up with a value adding culminating event that will put the knowledge that they have gained into practice. This will serve as a fundraiser to garner ex-tra income for the community.

AMBASSADOR’S DAYAs we introduce you to the ways of the locals here in the

Philippines, we will also alot a day for you to introduce your culture and traditions at an event that will be held

at the local university. It’s a good time to get in touch with our roots and appreciate our differences and uniqueness.

- Transportation partly provided, - Housing is 5 minutes away from

the community (provided but not covered)

For six weeks, the EPs will be teach-ing local communities that will re-

quire them to do initial research on the community’s situation and basic entrepreneurial skills. It will also re-quire the EPs to have a good grip on the basics of the English language to be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with the beneficiaries.
