The Palmerston Regional Hospital project is jointly funded by the Australian and Northern Territory Governments Project Status Report Date: Friday 2 September 2016 The Project Construction of a two level 116 bed hospital. Current Status Works carried out this week: Lay main water service line to hospital and excavate and lay main sewer drain. Formwork construction to building three, third floor suspended slab; building four, second floor suspended slab; and building five, second floor suspended slab. Scaffold erection to level three of building four and level two of building five. Construction of columns to building three, level two to level three. Concrete pour of building one, level four suspended slab. On site subcontractors: C & V Concreters carrying out concrete pours to building one, level four suspended slab; and building three columns, level two to three. Project Plumbing averaging 10 men a day carrying out works to: 1. Main water services lines; 2. Excavate and lay main sewer drain. NT Scaffold Erecting scaffold to buildings four and five. NT Proform Pty Ltd Averaging 45 men a day on site. Carrying out formwork construction to building three, level three; building four, level two; and building five, level two suspended slabs; and building three, levels two to three columns. Rob O’Keefe Pty Ltd Averaging 15 men a day on site. Carrying out blockwork to buildings one and two. Man hours worked on site for the week 15 August 2016 to 19 August 2016 were 6480. This week there was a total of 19 Indigenous employees working on the site.

The Project

Construction of a two level 116 bed hospital.

Current Status

Works carried out this week:

Lay main water service line to hospital and excavate and lay main sewer drain.

Formwork construction to building three, third floor suspended slab; building four, second floor suspended slab; and building five, second floor suspended slab.

Scaffold erection to level three of building four and level two of building five.

Construction of columns to building three, level two to level three.

Concrete pour of building one, level four suspended slab.

On site subcontractors:

C & V Concreters carrying out concrete pours to building one, level four suspended slab; and building three columns, level two to three.

Project Plumbing averaging 10 men a day carrying out works to:

Man hours worked on site for the week 15 August 2016 to 19 August 2016 were 6480.

This week there was a total of 19 Indigenous employees working on the site.

Environmental Controls:

Spray seal to manage dust control.

Head works road construction progressing and monitored.

Fire break maintenance and management implemented, managed and inspected

weekly throughout dry season.

Works for the forthcoming week:

Formwork erection for building three, level three suspended slab; building four, level two suspended slab; and building five, level two suspended slab. Building four, levels two to three columns.

Concrete pour of building four, level two suspended slab.

Blockwork construction to buildings one and two.

Scaffold erection to buildings four and five, level three.

Excavation of main sewer drain, pipe laying and backfilling.

Metal roofing.

Nurse call and security system.
