They were able to design programs that used : • Parallel Events • 2D Coordinate Systems • Translation (rotate, ﬂip etc.) • Digital Drawing Techniques • Interactivity The students researched various types of bridge constructions such as: beam, arch and suspension bridges. This Week!Project STEAM MD believes that combining traditional and digital skills gives students a deeper understanding of concepts. This week the students will be able to:!

• Complete "About Me" Programming finals!

• Complete the "Amazing Maze" program by adding a timer. !

• Complete "Fantasy Bridge" paintings!

• Build drawing and painting techniques. !

• Continue introduction to 3D modeling. !

• Continue exploration of building structures. !

Also, the students will receive prizes for completing all activities. !

Next Week!As we move forward throughout the year we will continue to expose students to new media (Art), science and tech. Next week, students will learn and research various concepts behind electric circuits. We will also begin introductions to robotics using Tilt sensors, distance sensors and motors. We will explore various ways to design self portraits. !
