Prosser High School announces 2017 HOBY Leadership Representative, Congratulations to Emmerson Holt. Seniors!!!!! Anyone interested in helping chose the class T-shirt is invited to come to a meeting in Mrs. Blair’s room on Thursday, Jan 19th at lunch. We would love to have your input.
Due to lost school days the next Traffic Safety class will start Wednesday, February 1st. Cost of the class is $340 and can be paid in the ASB office. Students need to be 15 years old when the class begins. Please see Mr. Fassler or Mr. Kintner if you have any questions.

Mustang CIA will be meeting Thursday, January 19 in the band room during lunch.. bring your food and join us as we talk about our upcoming events. FBLA members -There is a mandatory meeting TODAY at lunch for everyone attending winter conference in room 304.
M.E.Ch.A. Club Members! You will receive your club shirts this Thursday at lunch during our regular club meeting at 11:15am. Your President, Yareli Cruz, with the help of your club officers, will pass-out tee-shirts in the ordered size and mark you off the list. No, you may not get a tee-shirt for a friend who did not attend the meeting. Anyone who misses Thursday’s meeting will be able to get their tee-shirt Friday, immediately after school, from Ms. Rivera in room 207. FCCLA meeting at lunch on Wednesday (unless we have an alternate schedule) in room 131.

ATTN: SENIORS – Are you considering Carroll College? If yes, admission application is due February 15. Also, they have Mondays in March scheduled for visits. Stop by the counseling department for additional information
ATTN: JUNIORS – The University of Washington, College of Engineering, is hosting a Math Academy July 9 – August 4. Applications are available on our website or stop by the counseling department. Applications are due March 27, 2017.
Heritage University will be here on January 12, 19, & 26 to help with applications, FAFSA, WASVA, and their CAMP program. They will be here from 9-5 those days in the counseling office. Sign up with Mrs. Ledesma or come in on those days.
Project H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. The application is open December 15-March 15. For more information, please see Mrs. Cushing in the counseling office. COLLEGE INFO – Need information on various colleges? (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Project H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Project H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Project H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. Due to lost school days the next Traffic Safety class will start Wednesday, February 1st. Cost of the class is $340 and can be paid in the ASB office. Students need to be 15 years old when the class begins. Please see Mr. Fassler or Mr. Kintner if you have any questions.

M.E.Ch.A. Club Members! You will receive your club shirts this Thursday at lunch during our regular club meeting at 11:15am. Your President, Yareli Cruz, with the help of your club officers, will pass-out tee-shirts in the ordered size and mark you off the list. No, you may not get a tee-shirt for a friend who did not attend the meeting. Anyone who misses Thursday’s meeting will be able to get their tee-shirt Friday, immediately after school, from Ms. Rivera in room 207. FCCLA meeting at lunch on Wednesday (unless we have an alternate schedule) in room 131.

ATTN: JUNIORS – The University of Washington, College of Engineering, is hosting a Math Academy July 9 – August 4. Applications are available on our website or stop by the counseling department. Applications are due March 27, 2017.
Heritage University will be here on January 12, 19, & 26 to help with applications, FAFSA, WASVA, and their CAMP program. They will be here from 9-5 those days in the counseling office. Sign up with Mrs. Ledesma or come in on those days.
Project H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience) is a four-week, paid summer internship program offered to high school students at health care facilities within the student’s local community. Project H.O.P.E. interns receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in the program. Students who are first-generation college bound, from rural areas, or from populations that are under-represented in the health professions are encouraged to apply. Student interns rotate through several settings within one facility to gain maximum exposure to a variety of health professions. Must be at least 16 and have a GPA of 2.0 or above to apply. The application is open December 15-March 15. For more information, please see Mrs. Cushing in the counseling office. COLLEGE INFO – Need information on various colleges? Seniors: Need to apply for Financial Aid but don't know where to start? GEAR UP staff is here to help you. Stop by the GEAR UP office to set up a time to come in and apply online. A GEAR UP staff member will walk you through the online FAFSA process.
Mr. Ramirez from Heritage University will be here Friday to help students fill out their FAFSA/WASFA, ACT or SAT test applications, college applications or scholarship applications.
