PROYECTO EDUCATIVO DE CINE EUROPEO PARA NIÑOS Y JÓVENES

El principal objetivo de CinEd es que un gran número de niños y jóvenes de entre 6 y 19 años descubran la riqueza del cine europeo, su diversidad cinematográfica, cultural y lingüística. Así mismo, CinEd quiere contribuir a que los niños y jóvenes desarrollen su capacidad de análisis crítico y su conocimiento del lenguaje y las técnicas cinematográficas. Iniciado y liderado por el Institut français (París), el programa reúne desde su inicio en 2015 a 9 socios de 7 países europeos (España, Bulgaria, Francia, Italia, Portugal, República Checa, Rumanía) a los que se sumarán otros en los próximos años.

CinEd - European Cinema Education for Youth is a European cooperation programme dedicated to cinema education, which aims to enable young people between the ages of 6 and 19 in Europe to discover the richness of European cinema. The programme seeks to allow the largest possible number of young people to be introduced to European cinema and to discover its cultural and linguistic diversity, whilst developing their abilities in critical analysis and gaining knowledge of cinematographic language and techniques. Initiated and driven by the Institut français in Paris, this comprehensive programme brings together, at its launch in 2015, 9 different partners from 7 European countries, (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic), all involved in cinema education. CinEd intends to bring together more and more partners every year from different countries.

CONDICIONES DE USO / CONDITIONS OF USE

Desarrollada por el Departamento de Cine del Institut français conjuntamente con su Departamento Digital y su División europea, la plataforma CinEd es una herramienta segura que permite la transferencia digital de películas para la organización de proyecciones públicas no comerciales en condiciones y contextos muy específicos.

La plataforma CinEd está disponible en 45 países, siempre con un registro previo, lo que garantiza a los poseedores de los derechos la protección total de los archivos gracias a un sistema de encriptado y geolocalización (protección DRM con el fin de que las películas no puedan ser copiadas, transferidas ni grabadas). Las películas son accesibles únicamente para los usuarios cuyo registro haya sido validado y sólo en los países para las que hayan sido licenciadas.

Developed by the cinema department of the Institut français in connection with its digital department and its European division, the CinEd platform is a secured digital tool allowing the digital transfer of films for the organisation of non-commercial, film club-style public showings under very specific, defined conditions.

The CinEd platform is available in 45 countries only upon registration and guarantees right holders complete file security thanks to an encryption and geolocation system (DRM protection so that the films may not be copied, moved or burned). The films are thus only accessible for users whose registration has been validated and in countries where the films are not subject to rights restrictions.

UNA COLECCIÓN DE PELÍCULAS EUROPEAS ACCESIBLES EN TODA EUROPAA COLLECTION OF EUROPEAN FILMS ACCESSIBLE ONLINE THROUGHOUT EUROPE

CinEd offers contemporary and heritage films from partner countries to viewers all over Europe. Adapted to match the diversity of young audiences, the films chosen collectively by the consortium members form a high quality European collection. The films are available in their original version and are subtitled in the languages of the countries involved in the project and in English. Screening of the films via the CinEd platform enables public showings exclusively within a cultural, non-commercial context.

CinEd integra películas contemporáneas y de patrimonio de las cinematografías de los países socios, disponibles para el conjunto de territorios europeos. Adecuada a la diversidad del público infantil y juvenil, las películas seleccionadas conjuntamente por todas las organizaciones implicadas en el proyecto constituyen una colección europea de calidad. Las películas están disponibles en su versión original y con subtítulos en las lenguas de los países asociados y en inglés. Su difusión a través de la plataforma CinEd permite proyecciones públicas exclusivamente en sesiones educativas sin fines comerciales.

UNA APROXIMACIÓN COMÚNA COMMON APPROACH

UNA COORDINACIÓN LOCAL EN CADA PAÍS SOCIO LOCAL COORDINATION IN EACH PARTNER COUNTRY

Partiendo de sus experiencias previas, los socios han elaborado una metodología común e innovadora para el análisis de las películas y la creación de materiales pedagógicos, que están disponibles en 7 lenguas y en inglés dentro de la plataforma CinEd. Los materiales han sido pensados para alumnado de primaria, ESO, Bachillerato y Universidad, y proponen múltiples pistas de trabajo para una aproximación activa y creativa a las películas.

Based on their respective experiences, the partners have created together a methodology for the analysis of films and are developing educational materials available in at least 7 languages and in English on the CinEd platform. At primary, secondary, sixth-form and university levels, they offer numerous tracks for work, to allow young people to approach films within an educational environment and beyond.

Cada socio organiza y coordina el dispositivo en su territorio: comunicación, gestión de las peticiones de acceso a la plataforma e inscripción en CinEd, formación al profesorado y a los mediadores culturales con el objetivo de familiarizarlos con el dispositivo y su perspectiva pedagógica, sesiones de proyección y análisis de las películas con alumnos, etc.

Each partner organises and locally coordinates the scheme: communication, management of access requests to the platform and registration on CinEd, training to familiarise teachers and cultural mediators with the scheme and its educational approach, projection and analysis of the films with young people, evaluations, etc.

CinEd está a disposición de una gran diversidad de agentes: docentes, profesionales del cine y del audiovisual, mediadores culturales, etc. Está abierta además al conjunto del territorio europeo (45 países), incluyendo aquellos países en los que no hay socios de CinEd coordinando el proyecto; en este caso las peticiones de inscripción pueden solicitarse al Institut français de París.

CinEd también está a disposición de los exhibidores del circuito comercial que –tras negociar los derechos de proyección y copias de las películas con sus distribuidores– pueden inscribirse y beneficiarse así de los subtítulos y de los materiales pedagógicos disponibles.

Tras una primera fase piloto de 12 meses, CinEd quiere integrar nuevos socios y nuevos países cada año con el objetivo de dar forma a un amplio catálogo de películas europeas, y llegar a un gran número de niños y jóvenes.

CinEd is accessible to a broad spectrum of interested parties: teachers, cinema and audio visual professionals etc. It is available throughout Europe (45 countries), even where there is no partner coordinating the project. In this case, registration requests to the CinEd platform can be sent to the Institut français in Paris.

CinEd is also open to commercial operators. After negotiating the film rights and copies with the distributors, these operators may register with the scheme and benefit from the available film subtitles and educational resources.

Following a pilot phase of 12 months, CinEd intends to welcome new partners and new countries each year in order to develop a large catalogue of European films, to reach the largest possible number of young people and to establish itself in the long-term.
