Answer: The cemetery! He neatly curates his relics in the attached garage of his home in Monticello, IL. In an interview in June of 2014 with Herald and Review reporter, Tony Reid, it was reported that Nolte has a 30- year collection featuring 1,750 grave rub- bings and gives a presentation called “Tombstone Tales,” that are sometimes referred to as “Tales from the Crypt.” Nolte explained to Reid, “It’s not so much the tombstones but the stories buried inside that are the most interesting.” Ron Nolte will captivate you with intriguing and humorous stories gathered from some famous and not so famous people’s gravesites.
