About us
PS Nutraceuticals (PS Nutrac.) was established with the vision “eat right, live longer”. Our mission is “to ensure food is the drug we eat to live healthier and longer”. Our core markets of operation will initially be Nigeria.
PS Nutrac. implements cutting edge agricultural technologies for efficiency in food production to ensure food security.
PS Farms is a subsidiary of PS Nutrac. PS Farms will set up, manage, and maintain farms for premium crops to cater to local and international markets.

The issueAccording to the World Bank, “The world needs to produce at least 50% more food to feed 9 billion people by 2050. But climate change could cut crop yields by more than 25%. The land, biodiversity, oceans, forests, and other forms of natural capital are being depleted at unprecedented rates. Unless we change how we grow our food and manage our natural capital, food security—especially for the world’s poorest—will be at risk.”

The solution
• Reduce the risk and increase the returns of farming
• Guarantee crop yields and reduce time from planting to harvest • Foster global trading of agricultural produce
• Train and educate the population on health and nutrition
• Empower the farmers • Job creation
5
Change how we grow our food.
Implement latest technologies such as hydroponics, aquaponics, aeroponics to improve farming efficiency.
Train, support, and collaborate with farmers to ensure standardization and quality of crop production.
Establish marketing boards to facilitate trade of crops in local and international markets.
Research, development, and education to provide alternative medicine through nutrition.

Controlled, steady supply of produce
The Network
Local buyers
Rest of the world buyers
Pan-‐African buyers
Our network of farmers, empowered with our technology systems, will grow fresh organic produce.
Our technology systems introduce greater control and certainty to the supply of produce, which will improve trading opportunities.
Intra-‐Africa trade, at 6%, provides tremendous room for growth by, establishing a trading company, which will be able to offer a portal for trading the produce locally and internationally.
Benefits: • Improve global food security.
• Clientele using our technology can create access to external markets/buyers.
• Establish the first global agricultural trading platform in Africa. • Trade foreign exchange obtained from export activities.
• Tradable import duty credits.
• Potential tax concessions for agro-‐allied companies.

Agri-‐tech spotlight: Aeroponics
One of our specialist areas is that of Aeroponics, a technology of growing crops in the air without soil.
The benefits include:
Merging agriculture with technology is the key to increased efficiency in the sector.
7
• Eliminates the necessity of fertile land and soil, thus
ameliorates the current challenges faced in the agriculture
sector
• Not as labor intensive as conventional farming, thus reducing
significant costs to the farmer.
• Eliminates the need for pesticides
• Low reliance on fertilisers
• Increases speed of harvest by 45% -‐ 70% compared to
conventional farming
• Scalability
• Increased profitability
• Eliminates seasonal dependency
due to controlled climate within
the green house/and or screen
house
• Eliminates post-‐harvest wastage
Drastically reduces the amount of
water used by 95% due to the
recycled water structure put in
place
• Substantial expansion creates more
jobs and raises the standard of
living

Aeroponics technique has the following crucial benefits:
● Faster and healthier growth since it has enough oxygen (in the root region)
● Increased harvest rate. 45 – 70% faster than conventional agricultural techniques.
● Studies has shown that plants grown via the aeroponic system have an increase in flavonoids
What are flavonoids? Flavonoids are one of the largest nutrient families known to
scientists, and include over 6,000 already-‐identified family members
The unique nutrient richness of every whole, natural food can be showcased in a variety of ways, but there is no better way to highlight the unique nutrient richness of foods than to focus on their flavonoid content!
The system ensures you can grow your own plants anywhere; whether it be inside your kitchen or garden space. You can have a cherry tomatoes plant in the parlour for both ornamental purpose and nutritional value. Thanks to aeroponics system, we can increase our life span and improve our health, thus giving us a better quality of life.

Strategic thinking• In 1961, Nigeria controlled 42% of the global groundnut market, 27% of the palm oil market,
18% of the cocoa market, and 1.4% of the cotton market. Today, Nigeria is a net importer of these produce.
• Nigeria has lost its dominance to the likes of China, USA, Indonesia, Argentina, Ghana, and Cote d-‐Ivoire due to: – Lack of marketing organization linking farmers to markets – Inadequate form of planting materials, fertilizers, credit and rural infrastructure
Implementing a Strategy for Growth
• Private sector leadership -‐ In Kenya, initiatives driven by the private sector propelled it to the world’s number one horticulture market and created eight million jobs.
• Supportive fiscal policies -‐ Countries such as Malawi, China, Vietnam, Brazil, and Thailand became self-‐sufficient in food production within years of transforming their agricultural sectors, through national input support programs focused on small holder farmers.
• Infrastructure investments • Market information systems

Lending institutions in Nigeria traditionally tend to be risk averse when it comes to lending to the agriculture sector. Financial institutions find it challenging to lend to the agricultural sector due to the following reasons:
● Inconsistent weather patterns
● Crop disease
● Fluctuating yield
● Maximum yield is not attainable due to traditional agriculture methods; cultivation of crops is limited to the ground.
● Fluctuating market prices
Aeroponics is not dependent on weather and seasons, you can grow all year round. Due to the controlled and enclosed environment the risk of diseases is mitigated alongside accurate yield predictions, therefore financial institutions can build proper projects and dole out capital.
