Your child has been selected to be in the Homebush PSSA cricket or softball team. The children are asked to wear a hat and bring a water bottle both to matches and weekly training sessions. As the players will be travelling by bus to all the matches we are collecting money for Term 1 and Term 4. The cost of transport is $68.50.

Strathfield Council charges the school a fee for park hire of our home ground. This fee has previously been absorbed by the school. The charge of $8.50 per child will now be added to the transport cost making a total of $77.00 for all PSSA students.

Our first match will be on Friday, 22nd February, 2013.

Your child has been asked to sign the PSSA child agreement form. This explains the type of behaviour that is expected of your child. I ask that you discuss this with your child so they understand fully what they are signing. Debbie Rossi (Sports Organiser) & PSSA Coaches

WSPSSA SPORT PERMISSION NOTE 2013I give permission for my child ................................................................…………. of class ................to participate in interschool sport on Friday afternoons during Terms 1 and 3/4, 2013. I understand that transport will be by bus and that the children will be playing the sports of softball and cricket at the various sporting fields in the WSPSSA district.

2. I will try to participate in the true spirit of sport while I am a member of a sporting team at Homebush Public School.

3. The coach of my team is in charge of the team and I will follow his/her instructions with regard to the game.

4. As a member of a PSSA team I am representing my school and at all times should be on my best behaviour.

5. If I am in trouble with another teacher or I do not attempt to make an effort concerning points 1, 2, 3 and 4, I may not be allowed to play in the team on Friday afternoons.
