Know the Number of a Bill?Find the full text this way

Select the “Get a Document” tab.

Select “Public Laws” from the drop down menu.

Enter the bill number in the box.

Select the appropriate session of Congress.

P.L. 111-148 is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Searching the Public Law by number will provide you with a bill tracking report, the full text of the law and the legislative history of the law.
