P&C News
We invite the school community to take a few minutes to complete two surveys. The first is to assist the P&C
to approach council over parking concerns around the school perimeter. The second is to assist the canteen committee
is to seek feedback on the recent special day. The links to both surveys will also be circulated through the class parent
network.
At a recent P&C meeting, we discussed the issue of parking. We are concerned about the increase in traffic around the
immediate perimeter of the school and that parking when dropping/picking up students has become an issue. It has
been noticed that the workers at the construction site on Epping Rd and others travelling by public transport are using
streets surrounding the school for parking. This is causing congestion and safety issues especially at drop off and pick
up times.
We wish to approach the council to highlight our concerns and to ask them to consider changes to parking restrictions
to make it easier and safer for parents / grandparents / others dropping / collecting children to find a spot for the time
they need one. We’d like to get a feel for how many people are suffering some inconvenience.
We would appreciate you complete the survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/59VKR93
Please feel free to forward it to anyone else who collects your children from school.
