The Public Sector Accounting (PSA) Survey

The PSA Survey is a deliverable under Subtask 1 which focusses on raising awareness and the rationale to reform

Stocktaking exercise of the PSA environment

will inform the initial rollout of the PULSAR project

aid in creating awareness among the preparers, policy makers and other stakeholders

identify good practices which will stimulate peer to peer learning.

The comparative study should create a genuine baseline scenario against which progress can be evaluated

The study will be delivered in cooperation with our longstanding partners from the ZHAW

The results will be presented at the November 2018 Ministerial Conference

The Questionnaire

For the launch event last year we conducted a similar exercise

This questionnaire will comprise around 80 questions on the accounting and training environment

It is designed to facilitate data collection which will then serve as basis for the study

Areas that the questionnaire will focus on:

Accounting education and training environment

Legal framework, accounting standards, ongoing reforms

Cross cutting issues such as budgetary system, internal/external audit, IFMIS

We expect it will take about 1 working day (2 max.) to complete it

The questionnaire will be sent out end of April and we would kindly ask you return it by July 20

Transfer of data rights will be included as the PSA Survey will be made public
