Your gifts to the Garfield Park Library will create a new library with more community space to enjoy.

People of all ages drop by the Santa Cruz Downtown Library each month for the free concert.

Thank You for Voting for the Garfield Park Library

Your vote last fall at New Leaf Community Markets successfully added your Friends to the store’s Envirotokens program. Each time you bring your bag while shopping at either the Westside or Aptos grocery store, your token will bring in additional funds

for the little Carnegie library on the Westside: the Garfield Park Library.

And, better yet, your token will be doubled by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, host of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am!

Thank you for creating a wonderful new library at Garfield Park just by remembering to bring your bag when shopping at New Leaf Community Markets.

Since 2007, Your Generosity Ensures a Monthly Free Concert

"The biggest part of this project is the audience. You come every month and fill the meeting

room. You donate money for piano tuning. Your presence and enthusiasm support live music and live musicians. You give us a reason to prepare the music we love. Thank you!” - Carol Panofsky, organizer of the Munching with Mozart series.

Munching With Mozart —MunchMo for short—is organized by the Santa Cruz County Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Its first free concert was August 31, 2007. And, because of music lovers like you, there has been a concert every single month since then.

The secret of the program’s longevity is that it was conceived as a community-based project that would be easy for everyone. You and the Music Teachers’ Association work together, sharing the costs and the work.

Thank you for looking after the piano and the room, and thank your favorite music teacher for finding the musicians every month.

Create this Children's Patio at Branciforte Library.

You Can Expand Children's Programming at Branciforte Library

"Outdoor space is limited at the Branciforte Library... except for the overgrown and unused trellis area behind the building next to the

parking lot. "Nestled in a cozy corner outside of the children's area, it would be

perfect for children's outdoor activities, if it weren't for the safety issues posed by being open to the parking lot." — Jessica Goodman, Library Manager

Branciforte Library needs your support today! You can guarantee an Outdoor Children’s Patio for loud and messy (in other words, FUN) programming. But to transform this weedy space, the library needs an additional $75,000.

Please give today. Your gift will guarantee a welcoming 21st Century Community Library by providing a SAFE outdoor space for children. Thank you!

Your generosity today will transform this overgrown weedy space into an Outdoor Patio!
