Negotiate and Award Contracts for all types of goods and services, including Architectural-Engineering and Construction

WEBSITE CONCERNS

Potential bidders (Plan Holders) were not notified of due date for bids and proposals
Current contract vendors were not notified of impending contract expiration
Email notices of solicitations to vendors based on commodity codes required improvement
Coding System used to classify goods and services
Used to track costs for categories of goods and services
WEBSITE CONCERNS

No linkage between expiring contracts and new solicitations for the same goods or services
Term contract listings did not show all possible renewal periods
Vendors lack knowledge of projected procurements for upcoming fiscal year

WEBSITE IMPROVEMENTS

Email notices to all potential bidders (Plan Holders) seven days prior to due date for bids or proposals
Current vendor will receive email notice thirty days prior to contract expiration
All Commodity Codes placed under broad groupings.
All vendors with a code under a grouping will receive an email notice for all procurements from grouping
When a new solicitation has been issued, an icon will be added to the contract that will link it to the new solicitation
Term contract listing shows all renewal periods for each contract
Projected Procurements for Construction and Architectural-Engineering Services for the fiscal year are listed on the website at the beginning of each fiscal year
