Purpose

Vintage Amarillo is hosted by the Guild every other year in order to support the educational programs of the Amarillo Symphony.

How it started• The Amarillo Symphony Guild

developed Vintage Amarillo in 2000 to enhance the Guild’s fundraising efforts. Since that time, the project has become one of the Amarillo Symphony Guild’s largest fundraising events.

6-9 Months Prior to Event Solicit items for live and silent auction. All

auction items need to be secured no later than 6 weeks prior to event.

Coordinate with TABC. Hire and consult with auctioneer. Finalize

all auction details no later than 6 weeks prior to the event.

Impact on Community Vintage Amarillo is an effective

fundraiser because the primary donors to the event do not generally support Amarillo Symphony Guild fundraisers.

Funds raised by Vintage Amarillo help the Symphony Guild to achieve its goal of supporting the education programs of the Symphony.
