Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have

learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

During my progression in making the preliminary task, I learnt how to use continuity editing and understanding

the sense of narrative. The Mise en Scene in my pre task was to help the audience identify the genre. This gave me

an idea in what a film needs to contain and look like a realistic film. I am new to media studies, since I haven’t done this during GCSE. I am proud of the development I have made since I have learnt fast and understood some

software’s. For example, using final cut pro has let me identify how to edit and what buttons to press on the

keyboard to cut and paste. I have also used this time to practice in using the software. In my pre task I have used

and identified many shots such as Shot reverse shot, Match on action, over the shoulder shot, close ups and countless more. The pre task had a vital impact on my

film opening.
