We have made great progress in so many areas, from the CIS/NEASC accreditation visit to the chants coming in the physical school buildings. It has been wonderful to hear the positive comments from all members of the community which reflect the growing community feel at QAS. We want to congratulate our students on the learning they have undertaken through the year. The recent MAP data not only helps us to see the progress made this year, but helps us plan where we will go next. We have been very proud of our Grade 10 students undertaking the final e-assessments exams, and our first Grade 12s graduating this year. They all felt very confident as they left the exams and we look forward to congratulating them all over the summer as the results as published. We shall continue to work within the QF network and the IB community to share good practice and to help our students grow. We are very grateful to the parent volunteers who have been tireless in their support of the QAS Secondary School this year. It has been wonderful to see the positive impact you have all had on the school. The students have continued to inspire me, and surprise me with the direction they take their learning in. We have seen some great Personal Projects, Charity events, the INJAZ team, Art exhibitions to name but a few. These have all been student driven, and have grown and developed from learning opportunities the teachers have provided. We wish the very best to the staff who are leaving us this year, we thank them all for their commitment to QAS and to their focus on delivering the best education for our students. We wish the students leaving all the best in their new adventures. To everyone else, a happy and restful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in August. Thank you all. Dear Parents and Students,

As we arrive at the end of the year I want to pass on my thanks to all the members of the school community.

Best wishes,

Dr. Carolyn Mason Parker

Graduation

May 11th saw the very first Graduation Ceremony for students at QAS. Our very first class of Grade 12s left us, and become the very first alumni. We can’t wait to hear their updates as they fly off into the future.
